The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron is encouraging all New Zealand yacht and sailing clubs to throw open their doors and offer a “have a go” sailing experience to their local community.

The opening day of the 37th America’s Cup Match is our best opportunity to showcase sailing and to capture interest for our sport.

Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron is hosting the “Big Sleep-In” for their younger members (with their parents!) so they can wake up at midnight to watch the America’s Cup Match and support Emirates Team New Zealand.

Let’s get yacht clubs throughout the country to get behind this initiative and have sleepovers!
